Vice President, Technical Event Operations

Oversee day-to-day technical operations across multiple spaces, projects, and workstreams, serving as the primary liaison between core event production teams, creative directors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure appropriate staffing, technical planning, and operational support are in place for all events and productions while identifying gaps and hiring needs to support flawless execution. Establish standards, workflows, and best practices that support consistency and quality, and develop cost-saving and process improvement initiatives that increase operational efficiencies. Manage the full lifecycle of technical production budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, reconciliation, and variance reporting, while overseeing freelance payroll needs via Wrapbook. Maintain absolute source-of-truth documentation including event budgets, production schedules, planning calendars, and crew call sheets, ensuring real-time updates across all platforms. Lead tech ops meetings to align production, business, and personnel needs, and serve as the senior escalation point for complex operations. Regular, on-site attendance for a minimum of four days per week is required.
