Job Summary
Lead Relationship Management and drive profitability for the DBS India IBG 4 SME portfolio. Source and maintain Bank Asset relationships within the IBG 4 segment (Companies with turnover INR 25 crores to 600 crores) and ensure sanction and disbursement in liaison with Customer, Risk, and Operations teams. Actively cross-sell Liability, Trade, Cash, and Treasury products to achieve budgeted revenues, while monitoring delinquencies and maintaining credit standards. Conduct proper due diligence during onboarding of new assets, adhere to KYC/AML requirements, and provide MIS to central teams per guidelines. Maintain engagement with local business stakeholders, market leaders, influencers, and industry associations to stay informed on market practice and opportunities. Demonstrate strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills to build DBS Brand value and contribute to growth in a dynamic, inclusive environment. Requirements include 10-12 years of sales/portfolio experience, 8-10 years in business banking cash management/transaction banking, a proven SME asset sales track record, and education in finance/economics/commerce or MBA/CA; with emphasis on relationship management and compliance, and a culture of performance.
Required Qualifications
- 10-12 years of experience in sales, portfolio handling.
- 8-10 years of sales experience in business banking and/or cash management/ transaction banking.
- Proven sales track record in asset business in the SME/Business Banking segment.
- Knowledge of competitors and marketplace; market knowledge and experience in the SME segment.
- Bachelors in finance / Economics/Commerce or MBA or CA
- Excellent Communication & Listening Skills, Good Sales & Negotiation Skills
