Job Summary
Partner with business and support functions to provide clear guidance on policies, procedures, and control frameworks across products and services. Conduct robust product reviews and compliance risk assessments, identifying key regulatory risks and recommending proportionate mitigation strategies. Support the establishment of effective approval processes for new products, monitor regulatory developments, and prepare management information for senior stakeholders. Identify and escalate material compliance issues, coordinate responses to regulatory inspections and internal audits, and design compliance training initiatives. Lead regional and global compliance projects while driving continuous improvements to frameworks and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in banking compliance
- Strong track record in business advisory
- Strong track record in product governance
- Strong track record in regulatory engagement
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and expectations applicable to banking activities in Hong Kong
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and expectations applicable to banking activities across key markets
- Demonstrated ability to balance business enablement with effective risk management in a dynamic environment
- Proven capability to engage and influence senior stakeholders with clear, well-reasoned recommendations
- Experience working in a regional or global organisation with exposure to cross-border compliance considerations

- Experience in Treasury and/or Global Markets compliance
- Ability to provide high-quality, practical compliance advice to business stakeholders while applying constructive challenge
