Job Summary
Vice President, Structured Finance will partner with charter operators and CSGF’s investment team to solve finance and facilities challenges through strategic support to school leaders, relationship management with diverse stakeholders, and sourcing, structuring, and execution of investments. The role encompasses end-to-end due diligence and investment analysis for charter school operators (grants and loans), financial modeling and multi-year projections, risk assessment, governance evaluation, facilities strategies, and ongoing loan monitoring. This position also involves sourcing, negotiating, and structuring facilities loan investments, developing relationships with regional partners to strengthen the ecosystem, and leading the SFin team in portfolio systems, monitoring, cash management, and reporting. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, passionate about K-12 education, with strong financial leadership, analytical, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage and develop a team; and possesses permanent authorization to work in the US.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 12-20+ years of relevant work experience
- Finance leadership at a charter school management organization or related education organization strongly preferred
- experience in private equity, impact investing, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, philanthropy or similar
