Job Summary
Vice President of Sales for Hy-Tek Intralogistics responsible for developing and executing the annual sales plan, managing customer relationships, visiting sites to identify value-added opportunities, developing concepts from manual to automated solutions, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating and closing sales, coordinating with engineering/project management through project lifecycle, and supporting post-sale service/maintenance plans. Key duties include maintaining customer relationships, identifying business needs, educating decision makers, leveraging CRM to track sales cycles, and collaborating across engineering and sales support. Required capabilities include strong communication, solution selling, account management, proposal development, and the ability to travel up to 50%; CAD familiarity is a plus. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and 3-5 years of technical/industrial sales experience is desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical or industrial sales role
- Material handling systems experience and/or distribution operations experience would be a plus
- Experience in industrial capital equipment sales
- Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed
- Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CAD (ACAD) is a plus
