Job Summary

Vice President, Safety at ReMA responsible for establishing the vision and developing all safety programming, providing industry leadership and strategic direction for safety programs, coordinating with volunteer leadership and staff to develop tools, initiatives, programs, and training to support safer workplaces, and serving as the association’s voice on safety while collaborating with OSHA. The role leads safety staff, designs and implements safety programs and training, identifies best practices, aligns accreditation activities with ANAB, supports auditors and implementation consultants, and delivers safety guidance across virtual platforms. Travel up to 35% and a salary range of $160k-$180k are noted, with a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment statements included.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, minimum of seven years of Safety experience, as well as experience mentoring, managing, and leading people.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak in public and present in front of large audiences.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating professionalism under pressure.
  • Thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle concurrent projects from conception to completion.
  • Must have exceptional skills in editing documents, memos, and spreadsheets; experience using Office 365 and other office computer systems is desired.
  • Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
