Vice President, Regulatory Affairs – APAC Policy Generalist

Job Summary
Lead monitoring and advocacy on priority regulatory topics across Asia Pacific, with a focus on digital assets, artificial intelligence, data and technology, and fintech. Develop positions and advocacy strategies, engage policymakers, regulators, and trade associations, coordinate cross-regional efforts to ensure consistent interpretation and execution, and deliver concise daily and periodic policy reports for senior stakeholders. Build relationships with internal partners across legal, compliance, risk, finance, and government affairs, and maintain external stakeholder engagement with peer firms and industry bodies. Uphold high standards of integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience in public policy, risk, strategy, legal, compliance, or a related function with direct exposure to financial services regulation in Asia Pacific.
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks in one or more East Asia markets (e.g., mainland China, Korea, Hong Kong) and the regional policy context.
- Demonstrated ability to produce concise policy analyses, impact assessments, and executive-ready materials.
- Proven experience engaging with policymakers, regulators, or industry bodies on regulatory topics.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to operate autonomously and collaboratively, taking accountability for outcomes.
- Highest level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
