Job Summary

Oversee CG's Registered Plans Operations Team nationally by reviewing CRA regulations, implementing software enhancements, and maintaining clean monthly reconciliation of remittance control accounts. Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver business goals, including designing training tools, updating the Policies and Procedures Manual, and adapting SLAs based on industry trends. Manage resources, prioritize seasonal workloads, and coach the admin team to provide exemplary service to Advisors and clients. Represent the firm on industry committees, collaborate with internal and external auditors, and act as a subject matter expert on trust, estate, and fiduciary legislation.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • post-secondary degree in related field of study
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in working directly with CRA and a Trustee
  • Well-rounded knowledge of all facets of the securities industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in Trust Administration
  • strong understanding of fiduciary legislation
  • estates and applicable tax regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • work under pressure
  • keen attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and leadership skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, CoPilot)
  • eligibility to work in Canada with no restrictions
