Job Summary
Protect critical information, systems, and assets by managing the full life-cycle of web, database, and application servers. Install new hardware and operating systems, support existing platforms, apply security patches, perform performance tuning, and execute break/fix troubleshooting. Lead initiatives to upgrade or retire older infrastructure while ensuring technology runs smoothly. Diagnose and resolve problems quickly across Linux, Windows, and VMware environments, utilizing scripting and automation tools. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to drive overall IT strategy and empower breakthrough innovations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Linux administration with excellent administration and troubleshooting skills
- Overall 5-7 years of experience
- Strong experience in Windows administration + excellent administration and troubleshooting skills with Windows server 2012/2016/2019
- Experience in VMware administration- Responsible for all day-to-day management of the VMs including: installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching and backup and recovery
- Experience in SAN / NAS Storage administration - SAN zoning, SAN migration
- Experience in Backup administration - Data Domain, NetBackup
- Experience with Shell / Powershell / Python scripting
- Experience in Ansible, Jenkins and CIDC tools such as Git
- Exposure and Experience with Azure / VMware / Oracle Cloud
- Exposure / Experience with Cisco UCS, Oracle Exadata
- Excellent written, verbal communication and Interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- RedHat engineer certification (RHCE) a plus
- SAN migration (EMC would be added advantage)
