Job Summary
VP, Product Marketing for JP Morgan Payments Commerce leads development of market-facing narratives and materials for card present CP payment solutions across Mid-Corporate and Enterprise segments. Owns CP payments positioning, messaging framework, and naming/branding initiatives for hardware, software, and integrated solutions (including third-party devices, proprietary terminals, and biometric payments). Partners with Product, Strategy, and Commercialization teams to craft client-facing stories, drive adoption with prospects and existing clients, and develop go-to-market strategies for partner and direct channels. Collaborates with Product, Sales, Commercialization, Operations, and Marketing to ensure successful product launches and ongoing market success. Requires strong strategic thinking, storytelling, stakeholder management, and ability to translate complex payments solutions into differentiated value propositions and market-ready messaging.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
- 7+ years of product marketing, go-to-market, or related experience, ideally in payments, B2B technology, SaaS, or financial services; Experience launching and scaling products through partner and direct channels; strong narrative and enablement portfolio
- Proven experience developing clear and compelling value propositions that clearly differentiate offerings and communicate superiority of solutions
- Experience defining segmentation, personas, and buying journeys to enable precise audience targeting for marketing strategies
- Proven track record of launching and scaling products in competitive markets
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience in the payments industry is a plus, but not required—candidates with a passion for technology-driven innovation and customer-centric marketing are encouraged to apply
