Job Summary
Vice President, Product Manager – Payments role in New York, NY. Responsible for leading the full product lifecycle from ideation to production for payment platforms, collaborating with Product, Technology, Design and Analytics to define goals and KPIs, translating requirements into user stories and process flows, ensuring production-readiness through QA and regression testing, managing the product backlog and go-to-market activities, and monitoring performance while driving risk and controls with cross-functional teams. Requires 7+ years in financial services and/or product management, strong stakeholder management, strategic and detailed execution mindset, experience with APIs and Agile, and a BS/MS in a related field. Preference for online payments and fintech experience.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in financial services and/or product management
- Experience enabling change within large, highly matrixed organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions (engineering, architecture, design, product peers)
- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or comparable field of study
- Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
- Proven track record of managing risk and controls
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail for successful execution
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
