Vice President, Procurement

Job Summary
Define and execute an enterprise procurement strategy for aircraft sourcing, operator contracting, and technology platforms while overseeing all categories from catering to corporate spend. Lead contract lifecycle management, build the Preferred Network framework, and establish governance policies to protect financial integrity and client fund segregation. Mentor and scale a high-performing team, drive strategic sourcing to reduce risk, and partner with Finance to develop spend analytics and KPIs. Serve as a Senior Leadership Team member contributing to company-wide strategy, culture, and decision-making beyond Procurement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, Finance, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree
- 15+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain leadership
- 5+ years at the VP or equivalent executive level
- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise procurement strategy across both direct and indirect spend categories
- Familiarity with aviation-specific regulatory environments including FAA Part 135 operations, IS-BAO/ARGUS/Wyvern safety audit standards, and aviation insurance framework
- Strong financial acumen — understanding of P&L dynamics, spend analytics, cost modeling, and how procurement strategy intersects with company financial performance
- Knowledge of emerging aviation technology platforms and AI-driven operational tools relevant to private aviation
- Executive-level negotiation expertise with a record of structuring complex, multi-year agreements with aviation operators and strategic vendors
- Proven ability to build procurement functions from the ground up or scale existing teams during high-growth phases
- Strong command of procurement technology platforms, ERP systems, contract lifecycle management tools, and spend analytics dashboards
- Exceptional communication and executive presence — able to represent Procurement at the C-suite, board, and investor level
- Strategic planning skills with the ability to translate company objectives into actionable procurement roadmaps and measurable KPIs
- Able to set bold strategic vision while also providing hands-on leadership when high-stakes procurement decisions require executive judgment
- Demonstrates high integrity and unwavering commitment to financial transparency
- Builds trust across the organization from the flight support team to the founding leadership
- Operates effectively in a founder-led, entrepreneurial culture — embraces ambiguity, moves quickly, and brings structure without bureaucracy
- Able to evaluate complex build vs. buy vs. partner tradeoffs with both strategic and operational lenses

- Monday–Thursday onsite in Quincy, MA; remote on Fridays
- Limited, but may require occasional overnight travel for industry conferences, client meetings, or operational oversight at other locations
