Job Summary
Lead the MMA Dakotas Business Insurance practice by setting vision, driving profitable growth, and ensuring operational effectiveness. Partner with local, regional, and carrier leadership to execute short- and long-term strategies that support revenue growth, talent development, and market positioning. Champion the sales process, establish annual goals, and monitor financial metrics including new business forecasting, retention, and producer success rates. Facilitate cross-sell opportunities, manage carrier relationships, and resolve key business issues to maximize program utilization. Support strategic planning, budgeting, and acquisition integration efforts while maintaining strong relationships across the footprint.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business insurance industry
- experience within a broker/agency or carrier environment
- BA/BS focused on Business, Risk Management or equivalent
- Thorough command of business insurance marketplace
- demonstrated ability to lead application of technology solutions
- demonstrated ability to partner effectively with insurance carriers
- Proven ability to interact with senior executives
- Proven ability to develop and gain support of a vision
- Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure
