Job Summary
Lead product and program strategies for government debt solutions, defining vision, roadmaps, and delivery plans while managing workstreams and backlogs to ensure timely, high-value execution. Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate agile processes, make informed tradeoffs, and translate client priorities into actionable plans. Drive innovation by integrating market dynamics and client feedback to strengthen offerings and win new business, supported by data-driven insights from SQL, BI dashboards, and advanced Excel. Monitor performance metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities and align initiatives with BNY's strategic objectives and client-centric goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced product/program leader within banking, with a strong focus on government-related programs and strategic initiatives
- Proven ability to lead and run complex programs end-to-end, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational priorities, and client needs
- Demonstrated success in supporting business growth by helping position solutions, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to winning new business
- Strong ability to interface directly with clients, understand priorities, translate needs into actionable plans, and build confidence across stakeholders
- Lead the development and execution of product and program strategies, ensuring alignment with BNY's strategic objectives and client-centric priorities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define product vision, roadmap, and delivery plans, enabling seamless execution of product enhancements and business initiatives
- Drive innovation by incorporating client feedback, market dynamics, and industry trends to strengthen offerings and maintain competitive advantage
- Prioritize and manage workstreams and product backlog in alignment with business goals, ensuring focus on the highest-value initiatives and timely delivery
- Facilitate agile development processes by providing clear direction, making informed tradeoff decisions, and enabling efficient execution across teams
- Monitor performance metrics and outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and inform future strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Typically 5-10 years of experience
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills to drive product vision and execution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and product management tools

- Advanced degree preferred
- Strong technical and data skills, including experience with data modeling, BI dashboards, SQL, and advanced Excel proficiency
- Ability to use data-driven insights to support decision-making, improve transparency, and enhance program and product outcomes
