Job Summary
Foundational Product Owner within the Integrated Middle Office Solutions team, based in Manchester or London, focusing on translating platform strategy into team-level deliverables, coordinating across pods, supporting client onboarding, and contributing to commercial development. Responsibilities include drafting user stories with acceptance criteria, refining requirements, prioritizing work with the PO, facilitating sprint planning and demos, communicating progress and risks to stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with platform goals. Requires deep derivatives middle-office expertise, strong regulatory/operational/data awareness, and ability to translate client priorities into clear requirements and improvements across collateral-related workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Deep experience in derivatives middle office with strong knowledge of derivatives management processes including trade capture, lifecycle management, settlement, valuation, and interaction with front office, operations, risk, and broker interaction
- Strong understanding of regulatory, operational, and data considerations relevant to derivatives in a derivatives environment, including control frameworks, reconciliation, exception management, process efficiency, and the use of workflow, reporting, and analytics tools to improve service and risk outcomes
- Experience in supporting client delivery within a pod or team environment, translating client/business priorities into clear requirements, contributing to backlog refinement, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, managing dependencies, and supporting improvements across collateral-related workflows and controls
