Vice President: Personal Pensions - Operations Lead/Manager

Job Summary
Lead and expand the pensions operations team to support design and transition of in-house pension operations. Responsibilities include designing/re-engineering processes for personal pension operations (transfers, contributions, crystallisation, drawdown), structuring and growing the operations team, and transitioning to a new pension platform while maintaining BAU. Requires end-to-end project management, strong leadership and coaching, stakeholder management across internal and external parties, and a solid understanding of regulatory controls and risk management. Familiarity with Origo cash transfers, Salesforce or other CRM systems, and a basic understanding of Prod/Tech lifecycle is useful; background in automation/AI-driven process improvements is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Experience delivering and / or consulting on pension operations ideally in personal pensions / SIPPs.
- Experience with occupational DC schemes will be considered.
- End to end project management experience including scoping, business case development, implementation and change management.
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams and coaching and developing team members, particularly through periods of significant change.
- Ability to deal with different internal and external stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures and processes.
- Good understanding of business risk and its management.
- Willing to work in the office on a full time basis.
