Job Summary
Lead regional operational, manufacturing, and supply chain functions for Airgas USA, LLC - NCN Region, serving as a key executive leader for multi-site fill plants and packaged gas distribution. Formulate and execute regional strategies that align with corporate growth goals while managing capital expenditure budgets to maximize asset value and ROI. Cultivate a proactive safety culture ensuring strict compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA regulations, and partner with HR on workforce planning, targeted hiring, and succession planning. Optimize plant reliability and reduce waste through Lean Six Sigma methodologies to deliver bottom-line results aligned with regional objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the bulk and packaged gas industry
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in a production environment within a chemical, gas, or related industry
- Experience with SAP or a similar enterprise software system
- Experience being entrusted with capital expenditure budgets
- Coordinating capital allocations
- Applying standard financial principles
- Experience navigating and building alignment within union agreements
- Labor relations experience
- Employment matters experience
- Strong familiarity or deep understanding of compliance with federal/state regulations
- Understanding of OSHA
- Understanding of DOT
