Job Summary
Establish risk management and EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines while identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risk exposures. Evaluate and negotiate commercial and personal lines insurance programs, including coverage limits, retention levels, and carrier selection. Lead the Enterprise Risk Management process, oversee claims management, and direct inspections, surveys, and audits across the family portfolio. Manage administrative duties for two wholly-owned captive insurance companies and spearhead risk due diligence for acquisitions. Develop training programs and produce reports to analyze financial results of the risk management program. Travel 15%-20% of the time. Reports to the CHRO and oversees the Manager of Corporate Safety and Director of Risk Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem resolution and analytical abilities
- Deep understanding of Risk Management for a large, complex organization to include commercial insurance placement and E,H,S in a corporate role (preferred) or consulting role
- Strong understanding of insurance coverages
- Management experience with captive insurance companies and Enterprise Risk Management processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to make quick and practical decisions
- Focused, organized & results oriented
- Travel 15%-20% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred
- CPCU, ARM or CRM preferred
