Job Summary
Lead Workiva's global Financial Services vertical strategy across Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management, shaping solutions for regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and sustainability. Develop and execute quarterly, annual, and multi-year business plans aligned with revenue goals and customer success while defining a vertical-specific solution roadmap. Act as an internal and external evangelist, engaging with global customers, partners, and advisory firms to build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders. Operate as a senior leader in a matrixed organization, collaborating across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships to drive success and contribute to corporate strategic planning. Requires 15+ years of leadership experience in Financial Services and B2B SaaS. Global travel up to 40%. Salary range $275,300.00 - $358,100.00.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Financial Services
- significant impact in recent management consulting, technology consulting, general manager or similar role/s in Enterprise B2B SaaS
- Proven, deep expertise across Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management sectors
- strong working knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, EBA, ESMA, Basel III, Solvency II, CSRD)
- FS-specific solution areas (regulatory reporting, risk management, RegTech, and sustainability compliance)
- proven track record of successfully building, leading, and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for a B2B enterprise technology company specifically within the Financial Services vertical
- Demonstrated success collaborating with Advisory and Technology partners serving the FS ecosystem and the Office of the CFO
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Working knowledge of emerging AI compliance and governance standards, such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and SEC guidance on AI in financial advice and market manipulation
