Job Summary
Direct the Security division operations in accordance with New Jersey and Company regulations, functioning as the Department Manager. Oversee all investigations, ensuring incidents are properly recorded, while communicating verified information to the credit department. Establish and control capital and operational budgets, implementing cost control procedures and maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge for strategic recommendations. Identify compliance risks, take necessary actions to eliminate them, and champion a culture of honesty and integrity. Ensure staff provides the Family Style Service model at all times. This role includes paid Flexible Time Off and company holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Direct the operation of the Security division in accordance with New Jersey and Company regulations
- Function as the Security Department Manager pursuant to regulatory requirements
- Oversee all investigations conducted by Security personnel
- Ensure that each incident to which a Security department employee is assigned is properly recorded
- Communicate in writing to the credit department of accurate and verifiable information that may be relevant in determining credit worthiness
- Establish, maintain and control capital and operational budgets for areas of responsibility
- Develop and implement cost control procedures
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends
- Make recommendations for implementation as appropriate
- Provide strategic oversight for Security department
- Recommend best demonstrated practices and efficiencies to property leadership
- Identify compliance risks
- Take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks
- Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior
- Create a compliance culture within the organization
- Foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct
- Ensure staff provides the Family Style Service model at all times
