Job Summary
Valiant Funds is seeking an accomplished wholesaler to support growth as Vice President of Sales. This role focuses on territory-based wholesaling, educating Financial Professionals and RIAs who serve accredited investors, and driving fundraising for alternative investment offerings. Responsibilities include developing territory strategies, building and maintaining relationships with financial advisors, presenting investment opportunities and portfolio strategies, educating on alternative investment solutions, conducting virtual and in-person meetings and events, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining CRM records and pipelines, and representing the firm at conferences and industry events. Required qualifications include 5+ years in wholesaling for alternative or tax-advantaged products, existing relationships with registered reps and RIAs, and strong communication and presentation skills. Preferred credentials include FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The role offers a flexible remote work environment with travel as needed, opportunities for growth within an expanding investment platform, and a collaborative, client-relations-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in wholesaling for alternative investment products, tax advantaged products, or private placements required
- Existing relationships with registered representatives and RIAs required
- Proven success in business development and relationship management
- Ability to work independently within a remote environment
- Willingness to travel as needed for advisor meetings, conferences, and events
