Job Summary
Vice President of Sales responsible for the full commercial strategy of a production horticulture and agriculture operation. Lead the growth engine by expanding channel reach across big-box retail, independent garden centers, landscape distributors, and broker networks; convert transactional buys into seasonal programs and multi-year supply agreements; own pricing architecture and gross margin on perishable inventory; manage sales P&L, rebates, and KPI-driven performance; collaborate with operations and supply chain on demand planning to protect fill rates; personally steward top accounts and build the sales playbook, CRM discipline, and rep-management cadence for scale. The role requires a proven sales leader with experience in production horticulture or high-velocity, seasonal product categories, and a track record of driving revenue growth into the $30M-$75M+ range with direct sales leadership and an external broker network.
