Vice President of Primary Care Operations

Job Summary
Strategic, senior-leadership role overseeing operational excellence for a multi-site primary care footprint. Drives access, staffing, workflows, patient experience, quality outcomes, productivity, and value-based care initiatives while partnering with clinical leadership on population health and coordinated care delivery. Leads regional and site-level operational leaders, enables budgeting and growth initiatives (including new services and clinic expansion), and ensures compliance with CLIA/NCQA and other regulatory standards. Leverages data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and quality improvements; participates in senior leadership, risk, and safety committees to support organizational strategy. Preferred background includes a Bachelor’s degree or higher in healthcare/business administration or nursing, 5+ years in healthcare operations with leadership in primary care or ambulatory settings, experience managing multi-site physician practices, strong financial acumen, and experience leading nursing/clinical teams; active Missouri RN license is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field required
- 5+ years of healthcare operations experience, with significant leadership in primary care or ambulatory settings
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site physician practices or large clinical operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and performance optimization
- Strong experience with managing nursing and related clinical teams
- Background working closely with employed and/or independent physicians
