Job Summary
Vice President of People to provide executive-level HR leadership for Contour, aligning HR strategy with company objectives and building a high-performance culture. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training management personnel, developing training programs, overseeing HR operations and disciplinary/termination policies, ensuring legal compliance, guiding compensation/benefits programs, managing HR budgeting, and supporting professional development. The role oversees DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program and workers’ compensation, collaborates with leadership on talent management, and drives improvements through KPIs. Requires 10+ years HR management experience, airline experience with Part 121/135, Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally; SHRM certifications are strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of Human Resources management experience
- Prior experience working for a Part 121 and/or Part 135 air carrier is required
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred
