Job Summary
Partner with the CEO to drive organizational strategy, analyze priorities, and implement infrastructure needs aligned with the strategic plan. Serve as a senior thought partner and mentor, regularly tracking progress and engaging the Board on performance. Manage day-to-day HR operations including hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance evaluations. Oversee facilities, technology systems, and vendor relationships while supervising the Director of Finance and Administration. Develop and track the organizational budget, lead contract administration, and ensure compliance with financial policies and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on business, finance, accounting, or other relevant fields
- Minimum of twelve years of experience in operations and related fields
- Demonstrated experience overseeing finance, HR, and operations
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting, audits, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with initiative
- Experience working alongside people of various viewpoints and backgrounds
- Commitment to the mission of Texans Care for Children, including a passion for using public policy to improve the well-being of Texas children and families
- Full-time employment
