Vice President of Operations

Job Summary

Own and continuously improve Pure Earth's global operations to support strategic priorities and expansion by translating organizational strategy into multi-year roadmaps and execution frameworks. Establish organization-wide performance management systems, drive cross-functional alignment, and lead operational planning for geographic expansion in collaboration with Program leadership. Approve contracts and financial transactions within delegated authority while developing and managing the department annual budget. Accountable for organizational risk management, ensuring compliance with legal and donor requirements, and overseeing business continuity planning. Lead a small team including the Operations Officer, Digital Workspace Manager, and Director of Legal & Risk, fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence. Represent Operations in interactions with donors, partners, and Board Committees to strengthen organizational credibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10–12 years of progressive leadership experience within an international nonprofit organization
