Job Summary
Drive financial performance and profitability across Florence, Madison/Huntsville, and Birmingham divisions by establishing annual revenue and gross-profit goals, reviewing operational reports, and holding leaders accountable for departmental targets. Provide executive oversight for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and generator departments to ensure consistent operating procedures, efficient scheduling, and dependable service delivery while maintaining high workmanship and customer-experience standards. Lead and develop division managers, service managers, and dispatch leaders through mentoring, performance management, and succession planning to foster a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement. Partner with the company owner to execute short- and long-term operational strategies, evaluate fleet and staffing needs, and implement service-management technology to support scalable growth across multiple markets.
Required Qualifications
- Significant leadership and operational-management experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home services, construction, or a similar trade-based industry
- Proven experience leading managers, field technicians, installers, dispatchers, customer-service representatives, and office personnel
- Strong understanding of residential service operations, scheduling, workforce management, budgeting, and profitability
- Demonstrated ability to improve performance, strengthen accountability, and build effective teams
- Experience reviewing financial reports and operational performance data
- Strong communication, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance executive-level planning with hands-on involvement in daily operations
- Ability to travel regularly between the Florence, Madison/Huntsville, and Birmingham divisions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience overseeing multiple locations, markets, or service departments
- Previous responsibility for the financial performance of an HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home-services business
- Experience with service-management software, operational dashboards, call-center performance, and field-service reporting
- Familiarity with residential maintenance agreements, replacement sales, lead management, and customer-retention strategies
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, construction management, or a related field—or equivalent industry experience
