Job Summary
Executive leader responsible for all Mental Health, Family Preservation, and ECM operations across multiple counties, ensuring clinical, fiscal, and compliance excellence; guide BHSA/CalAIM transformation, drive workforce development and trauma-informed practice, and serve as liaison with state systems and funders to advance behavioral health policy and program outcomes; oversee internship/practicum programs and lead in data-driven performance and strategic initiatives across outpatient mental health, IFCCS, Wraparound, PEI, and ECM.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health discipline from an accredited program or university
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in residential, child welfare, or behavioral health programs, including 5 years in executive or senior management
- Proven success managing multi-county contracts and multimillion-dollar budgets
- Demonstrated expertise in CalAIM, Medi-Cal managed care, ECM, and value-based care frameworks
- Deep understanding of revenue management, fiscal forecasting, and financial decision-making
- Experience with workforce development, training, and oversight of internship or practicum programs
- Strong background in fiscal management, KPI development, and data-driven performance oversight
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Clearances and Requirements: DOJ and FBI fingerprint checks; must be at least 21; valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance
