Job Summary
Executive leader responsible for association-wide membership growth, engagement, and retention for the Heart of the Valley YMCA. Develop and lead a comprehensive membership strategy to recruit, engage, and retain members across all branches, partnering with senior leadership to align with budget and community impact goals. Oversee family-focused programs, such as Family Fun Friday and Stay & Play, and lead branch membership teams to deliver a welcoming, relationship-driven member experience. Drive revenue growth, set performance indicators, and use data to inform decisions. Serve as a ambassador for the YMCA’s mission, values, and brand while coordinating with marketing, operations, and program staff to ensure consistency and excellence across locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in membership, operations, customer experience, nonprofit management, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding membership/sales goals and building strong member relationships
- Experience leading multi-site or association-wide teams preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to support growth and retention
- Commitment to the YMCA’s mission and core values
