Vice President of Lending

Job Summary
Develop and implement effective lending strategies, policies, products, and procedures across all Everence entities while managing the loan portfolio and underwriting for consumer, mortgage, and business loans. Supervise, coach, and support personnel to achieve optimal performance, ensuring lending staff are effective, well equipped, and properly trained. Oversee collections and loan servicing functions, maintain strong performance and quality across all lending functions, and coordinate activities across related departments, branches, and channels. Provide leadership to the Everence Church Loan Committee for process updates and loan requests. Lead new initiatives, including the Everence Impact Fund and other product or balance sheet opportunities. Full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance/related field or an equivalent combination of formal financial services training and experience
- Minimum seven years of related progressive lending experience in a credit union or similar financial institution
- Comprehensive knowledge of Everence loan products, policies, and standards
- Knowledge of lending-related regulations and legal requirements, including collections, insurance, and related functions
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to design efficient systems and structures
- Strong organizational, managerial, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain effective, efficient workflows
- Understanding and appreciation of Anabaptist values and community
- Alignment in supporting the Everence mission of empowering financial well-being for faith-inspired living
