Vice President of Human Resources

Job Summary

Lead all HR functions, including full-cycle recruiting, performance management, and workforce planning, while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on organizational design and talent strategy. Align U.S. initiatives with global business objectives and champion culture programs that embed values into recruiting, onboarding, and performance processes. Manage a team of HR professionals, drive engagement across white-collar and blue-collar populations, and implement data-driven metrics to track progress toward organizational goals. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while managing policies across a multi-state and international environment. Partner with General Counsel to build a scalable workforce supporting Medacta's innovative orthopedic solutions and surgical advancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior or executive-level roles
  • Background supporting both white-collar (corporate) and blue-collar (manufacturing, field, or operations) workforces
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee relations
  • Demonstrated success in scaling HR functions during periods of growth or transformation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience using HR analytics and metrics to drive decision-making
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Robust attention to detail and analytically driven
  • Detailed understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Travel of up to 5% may be required, domestic

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
