Vice President of Global Sourcing and Supply

Job Summary
Lead the divisional Global Sourcing and Supply strategy by developing sourcing, supplier performance, and logistics improvement plans that drive cost competitiveness, quality, and risk mitigation. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to execute three-year category strategies, manage RFP/RFQ processes, and negotiate pricing to optimize total cost of ownership. Build a resilient supplier network through identification, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives including kaizen and Early Supplier Involvement. Maintain active supply chain risk analysis, implement lean systems like kanban and VMI, and lead direct reports while ensuring ethical compliance and professional standards across the supply base.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial management, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain, sourcing, procurement, supplier management, logistics, or related experience
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, developing strategy, managing supplier performance, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Knowledge of international procurement, logistics, supplier development, category management, and lean supply chain principles
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to collect, interpret, and act on spend, supplier quality, delivery, inventory, cost, and performance data
- Ability to evaluate moderately complex to complex business situations, exercise sound judgment, and develop practical strategies and countermeasures
- Strong negotiation, communication, facilitation, and relationship-management skills
- High level of emotional intelligence with the ability to lead through influence, manage pressure, and communicate with professionalism
- Ability to prioritize, adapt, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- CPM, CPSM, or equivalent certification
- Experience with ERP or large enterprise software
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 tools
