Job Summary
Shape the future of Atlantic Federal Credit Union's finance organization by leading strategic financial direction, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Translate business strategy into decision support, deliver profitability insights across products, channels, and operations, and elevate the finance function as a strategic partner. Define and track productivity and performance benchmarks, improve efficiency and cost structure, oversee accounting operations and regulatory relationships, and drive end-to-end finance outcomes while mentoring a high-performing team. Expect broad exposure across the organization and direct collaboration with senior leadership to influence enterprise-wide priorities and growth. This is a senior leadership role focused on transforming finance into a strategic enabler that supports profitability, productivity, and execution discipline, with ownership of the finance and accounting function and the development of a scalable organization.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financials to strategy
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and accounting operations
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional outcomes
- Experience building teams, improving processes, and leading through change
