Vice President of Estimating and Business Development

Job Summary
Lead and mentor the estimating and business development teams while developing strategic growth plans that drive revenue across demolition, abatement, soil remediation, grading, and heavy civil projects. Partner with executive leadership to identify and secure new opportunities with public and private clients, overseeing bid strategy, proposal development, and preconstruction processes. Direct marketing and brand initiatives including digital presence and trade shows, and establish key account frameworks for national and regional clients. Build sales forecasting systems and performance metrics aligned with EBITDA goals, representing the company as an ambassador at industry events and client meetings. Requires 10+ years of leadership experience in earthworks or heavy civil construction with a track record of profitable growth strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in estimating, business development, or executive management within earthworks, demolition, or heavy civil construction
- Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies that deliver consistent, profitable results
- Strong background managing estimating teams, bid strategy, and project pursuit efforts
- Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and market strategy development
- Strong financial acumen, capable of linking business initiatives to profitability and EBITDA outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in TxDOT, airport, bridge, grading, abatement, and/or major earthwork projects
