Job Summary
Own end-to-end engineering execution for Ocrolus' AI-native fintech platform, managing roadmap planning, sprint cadence, and cross-team dependencies while driving high-velocity delivery of LLM and agentic workflow integrations. Lead architecture reviews and critical system design decisions for distributed platforms processing nearly one million credit applications monthly, enforcing standards for code quality, observability, and incident response. Build and scale a distributed engineering organization across the US and India, coaching directors and senior managers while recruiting senior talent and managing the engineering budget. Represent engineering at the executive level to partner with Sales on enterprise commitments and contribute to technical strategy for the CTO.
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years in software engineering
- at least 5 years in engineering leadership
- has scaled through Series C or equivalent growth
- Strong IC background
- progressed through the Architect or Principal Engineer route
- deep ownership of architecture, system design and technical decision-making
- Hands-on experience shipping AI/ML systems to production
