Job Summary
Strategic leadership of the construction operations for a senior-level role overseeing a general contractor's construction division. Oversees day-to-day operations, leads project management teams, ensures projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget, with a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction. Mentors project managers, superintendents, and field staff; drives process improvements and operational efficiency; manages budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource planning; maintains high-level client communications and builds relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors; champions safety and aligns project execution with company goals.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a senior operations or executive-level role
- Strong background in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial projects (e.g., schools, churches, apartments, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams across multiple projects
- Deep understanding of construction operations, contracts, scheduling, and budgeting
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with construction management software and systems
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
