Job Summary
Lead construction strategy and execution across a portfolio of 1,000+ retail locations in North America. Oversee all new store openings, renovations, remodels, and in-store concept development; drive end-to-end project delivery including planning, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and execution. Develop and manage annual and long-term capital budgets; build and lead a high-performing, geographically dispersed construction team. Partner cross-functionally with Real Estate, Store Operations, Finance, Legal, and Procurement; manage external vendors, contractors, and design partners to ensure quality and accountability. Identify opportunities to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and enhance overall project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in retail construction with leadership over large-scale, multi-site programs
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to influence and partner effectively across cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate, retail environments, and construction project management
- Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 40–50%)
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field
