Job Summary
Lead and manage the organization’s compliance programs as Vice President of Compliance, reporting to the President/CEO and based in Grand Junction, CO. Oversee and coordinate compliance activities across departments, including contract review templates, non-routine contracts, record releases, legal requests, external audits for hospice, PACE audits, and regulatory obligations (e.g., SMS, 1557). Serve as a consultant to the PULSE group on compliance matters; participate in the Ethics Committee; oversee licensure processes with CDPHE; review subpoenas with legal counsel; ensure privacy and security program effectiveness and readiness, including responsibilities of the Privacy Officer and Security Officer (may serve in that role). Develop a culture of ethical integrity, maintain Notice of Privacy Practices, and report to the Board of Directors at least annually; collaborate on responses to emergencies and pandemics. Ideal candidate is a mature, compassionate healthcare executive with policy expertise, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on diversity and sustainable care for the community.
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare executive with 6-10+ years of progressive experience in a compliance leadership role
- Preferably within the healthcare industry
- A licensed registered nurse is highly preferred
