Job Summary
Develop and execute Sabel Systems' growth strategy within the Department of Defense market by cultivating customers, partners, and new programs. Formulate Go-To-Market strategies for current and R&D products while advising leadership on resource management and future procurement. Identify and win new business opportunities through competitive analytics, sales planning, and customer intimacy initiatives. Represent the company to clients, leverage technical backgrounds to vet business decisions, and expand industry partnerships to strengthen the brand. Travel 25% to 50% of the time to various Air Force bases and customer events. Requires US citizenship, active DOD security clearance, and a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of Air Force industry sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen with an active DOD security clearance
- Proven year-over-year sales growth withing the Air Force industry
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with technology products, solutions and services
- Proven experience in driving organic growth within the DoD industry markets
- Proven, relevant and current industry experience and/or operational experience with the military communities
- Demonstrated business acumen and experience with DoD acquisition
- Knowledge and experience in obtaining a GSA MAS/GWAC schedules/vehicles
- Ability to travel to various Air Force bases, company locations, and customer events 25%-50% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Air Force organizational structures, missions, acquisition processes, and budgeting cycles with an existing network across key Air Force stakeholders
- Prior experience in a small-to-midsize government contractor environment
- Able to provide a Win Sheet of detailed business development successful wins in the Air Force sector
