Job Summary
Leading a national portfolio of multifamily housing communities as a strategic asset-management leader, overseeing financial analysis, forecasting, team mentorship, and collaboration with acquisitions/development on underwriting and business plans. Responsible for transition of new acquisitions into asset management, supporting lease-up and redevelopment efforts, training asset managers on processes such as loan conversions, refinancings, and capital-market activities, and maintaining relationships with lenders, investors, and community stakeholders. Demonstrates strong command of real estate operations, financial modeling, and portfolio management to drive portfolio performance and long-term stability. Located in Seattle, WA with on-site responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in multifamily or affordable housing asset management
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CPM designation preferred
- Strong understanding of real estate finance, accounting, and portfolio management principles
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex portfolios effectively
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive with limited supervision
