Job Summary
Lead cross-portfolio monetization strategy across US game titles, serving as the monetization authority and developing a unified philosophy to balance revenue growth with player experience. Identify portfolio-wide opportunities through pricing benchmarks, promotional cadences, and live ops patterns; mentor monetization talent; conduct regular monetization reviews; build and maintain a monetization playbook and shared library; partner with product, design, economy, marketing, and customer support to integrate monetization into the player experience. Champion an analytics-led approach with forecasting oversight and executive reporting to inform senior leadership on monetization health, risks, and opportunities across the US portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Game Development, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in monetization, live operations, or product management in the gaming industry (free-to-play or social casino preferred)
- Proven track record leading or consulting on monetization strategy across multiple game titles or a portfolio
- Strong analytical thinker who uses data to drive decisions and translate performance data into strategic direction
- Deep expertise in free-to-play business models, player lifecycle economics, pricing strategies, and live ops
- Cross-functional collaboration with product, analytics, design, economy, marketing, and customer support teams
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders and game-level teams
- Familiarity with predictive modeling, LTV forecasting, game economy design
- Proficiency with data tools such as Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics platforms
- Experience building or scaling monetization functions, centers of excellence, or shared services teams
