Job Summary
VP-level role responsible for managing risk and developing trading activities with limited direction. Partners with global sales teams to help clients execute trading activities, assigns accounts to predefined trading models, and administers trades in line with product guidelines. Operates as a market maker buying and selling financial instruments under established trading strategies and risk parameters. Requires in-depth knowledge of risk management, hedging, and trading strategies, strong client relationship skills, and ability to develop and implement revenue-generating trading strategies. Must meet licensing requirements and have six+ years of trading experience; preferred Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field. The role emphasizes in-office collaboration with an explicit Tokyo, Japan location, and adherence to federal/regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority licensing
- Minimum of six years of trading experience
- Experience in causation analysis, client management, financial forecasting and modeling, research analysis, risk management and data and trend analysis
- Strong business acumen with experience in trade monitoring, strategy and investment analysis
- Understands the marketplace and client needs to drive product growth
- Develops and executes strategies that improve account connectivity and production
- Builds strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
- Displays a proactive mindset and effective time management
