Job Summary
Vice President, Marketplace Growth for GolfNow to lead demand-side strategy, drive high-quality rounds growth, and shape the golfer value proposition. Own national promotion strategy and guardrails to balance growth with marketplace trust and contribution margin. Establish frameworks for demand quality and lifecycle activation, drive second-round conversion and early retention, and partner across marketing, product, analytics, CRM/lifecycle, and partner teams. Apply an insight-led, data-driven approach with KPI design and performance management; identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance personalization, decision-making, and operational efficiency. Lead with a focus on growth, customer trust, and long-term value in a leading digital marketplace within Versant’s sports/entertainment portfolio. Qualifications include 12+ years in growth/marketplace roles, strong cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision-making, and AI familiarity.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of leadership experience in growth, marketplace, consumer, or performance marketing within digital, e-commerce, travel, media, or subscription businesses
- proven ability to drive sustainable growth while balancing unit economics, customer trust, and long-term value creation
- deep expertise in customer segmentation, behavioral activation, offer strategy, and conversion optimization
- strong analytical mindset with experience in experimentation, KPI development, and data-informed decision-making
- experience developing value propositions, messaging strategies, and go-to-market frameworks
- demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders in matrixed organizations
- familiarity with AI-driven tools and the ability to translate emerging capabilities into practical, high-impact workflows
