Job Summary
Vice President, Marketing (Biopharma) leads US marketing strategy and execution for Fresenius Kabi biopharma products, driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability. Responsibilities include developing and tactically executing marketing plans, building and developing a high-performing marketing team (with oncology and immunology portfolio launches), collaborating with Market Access for pricing, payor strategies, and hub logistics, partnering with Biopharma sales for contracting and market access, coordinating with Medical Affairs on data analytics and physician/advocacy messaging, driving go-to-market strategies, promoting products, budgeting/forecasting, and aligning cross-functional resources to realize business plans. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (MBA strongly preferred), 15+ years in pharma, 10+ years of management, 7+ years in marketing/sales/market research, and travel ability. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work 3 days/week at the US headquarters in Lake Zurich, IL, with a base salary range of $265,000–$310,000 and bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA strongly preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry required
- 10+ years of management experience required
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, market research (financial, statistical analysis, and/or quantitative a plus)
- Strong and effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be a strong leader with advanced knowledge of the payers, providers, clinics, and health care organizations
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
