Job Summary
Lead client onboarding by translating scattered loan data into structured, actionable models within Chatham's proprietary technology platform. Design and implement bespoke workflows to track covenant tests, loan reporting, and portfolio analytics, ensuring accurate data for drawdowns, refinancings, and amendments. Monitor institutional real estate portfolios for changes and prepare dashboards highlighting key risks, upcoming maturities, and performance trends. Build strong relationships with sophisticated commercial real estate clients through regular calls and proactive insights on loan mechanics. Collaborate with the technology team to enhance platform quality based on client feedback and evolving market needs. Direct report responsibilities include managing people, supporting career development milestones, and training new team members to ensure delivery excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, loan servicing, or real estate transaction law
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and extract key data from various types of real estate source documents
- Exposure to commercial real estate loans, with an understanding of their structure, terminology, and financial covenants
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas and information to clients, team members, and other stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and maintain complex financial models, analyse data and present insights
