Job Summary
Lead the Investor Relations function by establishing strategy, building relationships with investors and analysts, and crafting the investment narrative aligned with business performance. Prepare quarterly earnings calls through financial scriptwriting and Q&A prep, while partnering with the CFO to translate complex data into compelling communications. Own investor marketing strategies including roadshows and conferences, and monitor market trends to inform executive strategy. Ensure all public disclosures meet regulatory standards through collaboration with Legal and Finance. This full-time hybrid role in Oakland, CA, or Denver, CO requires 15+ years of experience in investor relations or investment banking within high-growth SaaS.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic communications
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, CAC, LTV, etc.), and capital markets
- Experience engaging with public investors, analysts, and rating agencies
- Proven ability to craft compelling investor narratives and deliver executive-level presentations
- Strong EQ and executive presence
- Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and credible across mediums and audiences
- Ability to synthesize financial and strategic insights into actionable messaging
- IPO experience or late-stage private company readiness
- Experience navigating media and public market scrutiny
- Strong collaboration skills across Finance, Legal, Comms, and the C-Suite
- This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our Oakland, CA, or Denver, CO office
- two days in the office each week
