Job Summary
Lead the Investor Relations function by establishing strategy, maintaining relationships with investors and analysts, and crafting the investment narrative aligned with financial performance. Prepare for and lead quarterly earnings calls, including scriptwriting and Q&A, while partnering with executive leadership to drive engagement and shape external perception. Own investor marketing strategies such as roadshows and conferences, monitor market sentiment, and ensure all public disclosures meet regulatory standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Communications, and Finance to manage compliance and support fundraising or M&A activities. This full-time hybrid role is based in Oakland, CA, or Denver, CO, with two days in the office weekly.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic communications
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, CAC, LTV, etc.), and capital markets
- Experience engaging with public investors, analysts, and rating agencies
- Proven ability to craft compelling investor narratives and deliver executive-level presentations
- Strong EQ and executive presence
- Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and credible across mediums and audiences
- Ability to synthesize financial and strategic insights into actionable messaging
- IPO experience or late-stage private company readiness
- Experience navigating media and public market scrutiny
- Strong collaboration skills across Finance, Legal, Comms, and the C-Suite
- This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our Oakland, CA, or Denver, CO office
- two days in the office each week
