Vice President, Investment Real Estate Finance

Job Summary
Originate and structure financing for non-owner-occupied investment properties, including single-family rental portfolios and multifamily assets, while maintaining exceptional credit quality. Develop new lending relationships with professional real estate investors, developers, and sponsors by building referral networks with mortgage brokers, attorneys, and financial advisors. Analyze borrower financial statements, rent rolls, and global cash flow to present comprehensive underwriting packages to credit committees. Negotiate loan terms, pricing, and collateral structures while coordinating with underwriting, legal, and closing teams. Represent the company at industry conferences and consistently meet annual production and portfolio quality goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7–10 years of commercial or investment real estate lending experience
- Proven history of originating investment real estate loans
- Existing referral network capable of generating immediate production
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate underwriting and valuation
- Ability to analyze tax returns, financial statements, rent rolls, operating statements, and borrower liquidity
- Strong knowledge of loan documentation and commercial real estate collateral
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Positions self to install equipment, including under desks
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred
