Job Summary
The San Francisco-based Healthcare Investment Banking Vice President will execute complex transactions across IPOs, private placements, follow-on offerings, and M&A within the healthcare sector. Responsibilities include leading valuation modeling and financial analysis, preparing and coordinating marketing materials and transaction documentation, conducting thorough due diligence, serving as day-to-day client contact, and mentoring junior team members. The role emphasizes interaction with C-suite executives and institutional investors, staying current on healthcare regulatory developments, and contributing to deal strategy and execution in collaboration with capital markets and legal teams.
Required Qualifications
- MBA, CFA, CPA or other advanced degree/credentials desired
- At least 5 years of Healthcare/Life Sciences Investment Banking experience required
- Current FINRA Series 79, 63 licenses required
- Highly proficient in financial statement analysis
- Advanced financial modeling and financial statement analysis skills
- Working knowledge of Capital IQ, Thomson One, Venture Source, Bloomberg and other databases
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Solid work ethic and a passion for the securities industry
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
