Vice President, Internal Communications

Job Summary
Compose and distribute clear, concise employee communications aligned with company tone, while advising senior leaders on messaging and framing. Contribute to an integrated editorial calendar across channels and proactively identify opportunities to address employee needs through appropriate content and formats. Develop presentations and visual content, support the planning and delivery of events like town halls and inclusion programs, and explore approved AI tools to improve reach and efficiency. Partner with stakeholders across business lines and functions to support communications for initiatives, culture, and organizational change, translating complex topics into accessible formats. Build relationships with leaders in HR, Legal, and Compliance, collaborate with regional colleagues to coordinate messaging, and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Establish analytics measures, use performance data to identify trends, and recommend improvements to content and approach.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressively responsible communications experience
- strong focus on internal or employee communications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, presentation and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization
- Ability to work effectively from both limited direction and detailed stakeholder input, asking thoughtful questions, identifying gaps and anticipating needs
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines without compromising quality
- Curiosity about AI, emerging communications technologies and new content formats, with the ability to learn and apply approved tools quickly and responsibly

- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry
- Experience supporting communications for a large, complex or geographically dispersed organization
